Message	My Bose radio did that too, but I tried to leave the radio on until the hissing went away. That worked for a few months until one day the hissing wouldn't go away. Then a blanket of thick, brown smoke started to ooze out of the speaker and door. It could have caused a fire... The smoke was really potent smelling, it smelled like an electrolytic capacitor frying, if I recall correctly.
